NGS Founder, Director and Lead Trainer
Sevara was born and raised in Etsha 13, a small village along the Panhandle where the Okavango Delta begins. Growing up in this wilderness shaped his deep connection to nature and laid the foundation for a lifelong career in guiding.
With nearly two decades of experience as a professional safari guide, Sevara has earned a reputation as one of Botswana’s most respected field professionals. His deep understanding of the Delta’s ecosystems, wildlife, and plant life is matched by his ability to share this knowledge with passion and authenticity.
Over the years, Sevara’s career has evolved into leadership roles, including Camp Manager, where he oversaw daily operations, guest experiences, and the training of junior staff. He is a fully licensed Botswana guide, a certified walking guide with extensive hours on foot, and holds an Advanced Diploma in Hospitality Management. He is also an accredited Assessor, Trainer, and Moderator—ensuring the highest standards in guide training and professional development.
Today, as Director and Lead Trainer at Nomad Guide School, Sevara is dedicated to shaping the next generation of safari professionals. His approach to teaching goes beyond technical skills—he inspires respect for the wilderness, appreciation of cultural heritage, and a commitment to guiding with integrity and heart.
